Mission Statement
To contribute to the social and economic regeneration of the
area, and to put the heart back into the local community.
To realise its mission, NCH aims to use its infrastructural and human resources to deliver
sustainable, accessible and affordable services that will meet the needs of local people.
Aims and Objectives
- To establish a
sustainable community learning resource and base from which community run projects can be developed and delivered.
- To develop and
deliver a range of learning and community projects in a deprived area of Liverpool which are fully accessible to all local
people, including those with disabilities and special needs.
- To create employment,
training and volunteering opportunities for local people in an area of high unemployment and low incomes.
- To increase the
skill levels and improve access to employment and training opportunities among long term unemployed people, lone parents and
other groups at a disadvantage.
- To provide childcare
facilities which will enable local parents to access employment, learning and volunteering opportunities.
- To act as a stimulus
and focus for community involvement in local regeneration efforts.
- To provide a partnership
vehicle for local people and organisations to work together in developing projects of benefit to the local community.
